Common Inkjet Printer Problems and Solutions

Problem1: Can’t print out after cartridge equipped in a new printer

Cause Analyze and Solutions

• There are small bubbles in the ink cartridge. Solution: Clean the print head 1 to 3 times.
• Haven’t remove the seal on the top of the cartridge. Solution: Completely tear off the seal label.
• Printhead clogged or damaged. Solution: Clean the print head or replace it if life off.

Problem2: Come up printing stripes, white lines or image become lighter

Cause Analyze and Solutions

• There are small bubbles in the ink cartridge. Solution: Clean the print head, and put the cartridges in the machine for few hours.
• The ink has be used off. Solution: Replace the ink cartridges.
• There are impurities in the print head. Solution: Clean the print head or replace it.

Problem3: Print head clogged

Cause Analyze and Solutions

• Printhead clogged cause the printhead hadn’t be returned to the protective cover after printing or the cartridge hasn’t be installed timely so the printhead was exposed to the air too long. Solution: Clean the print head with professional maintenance kit.
• The printhead is damaged. Solution: Replace the print head.

Problem4: Ink blurry after printing

Cause Analyze and Solutions

• The print head is not in suitable condition, and the ink jet volume is too large. Solution: Clean or replace the print head.
• The quality of printing paper is poor. Solution: Use high quality paper for sublimation.

Problem5: Still shows ink out after installing the new ink cartridge

Cause Analyze and Solutions

• The ink cartridge is not installed properly. Solution: Reinstall the ink cartridges.
